Marketplace Channel Operations · Patent-Pending Technology

Your brand is already selling online. The question is who controls it.

Brand Chief runs the home improvement channel for manufacturers. Listings, pricing, fulfillment, advertising and enforcement across ten marketplace and retail channels, on a patent-pending stack we built ourselves.

The Situation

Nobody owns the channel, so everybody does.

For most manufacturers the marketplace channel was never designed. It accumulated. A dozen resellers, a hundred unauthorized listings, pricing nobody set, and content written by people who have never handled the product.

Pricing you did not set

Unauthorized sellers race each other to the bottom on your own catalog. The buy box goes to whoever is most willing to lose money, and your MAP policy is a PDF nobody reads.

Content written by strangers

Listings carry the wrong specs, missing certifications and stock photography. The product page is the only thing most customers ever see of your brand.

Compliance exposure

Products shipped into states that ban them. Registrations that lapsed. One violation can put the whole account at risk, not just the listing that caused it.

Fulfillment you cannot see

Your inventory ends up with a subcontractor's subcontractor. Nobody in that chain has been told whose brand is in the box, and nobody in it answers to you.

Invisible to the next interface

Shoppers increasingly ask an AI what to buy. If your listings are not built for how those engines read a product, you are not in the answer.

The Platform

We did not buy this stack. We built it.

Five proprietary systems, each patent pending, running the channel end to end. Your team sees one dashboard. Underneath it, these are doing the work.

Apex Pro Ads

Patent Pending

We run your advertising across every format the marketplaces offer, driven by the Adaptive Bid Engine™. It watches your stock, your return rates and what each sale actually earns, then pulls spend back before a product runs out or starts losing money. Nothing for your team to install, connect or maintain.

GoLive

Patent Pending

We rewrite your product pages — the titles, the selling points, the images and the search terms behind them — using your own spec sheets rather than guesswork. Everything is approved before it goes live, and written so AI assistants can read it too. One engine, every AI surface.

Brand Chief Cockpit

Patent Pending

Your own live dashboard. Sales, ad spend, return on that spend, whether you are winning the buy box, what is in stock and where AI assistants are recommending you — on one screen. Built for the people who own the number.

Retail Reach

Patent Pending

Products that meet the requirements gain access to up to 9,000 independent hardware and home-improvement stores. We will also build and run your brand’s own consumer site, with Buy on Amazon doing the checkout. And it watches your online product reviews, because that is what the shopper standing in one of those aisles is reading before they decide. Retail Reach follows your star rating and the themes customers actually complain about across every marketplace, then traces a slipping score back to the batch, the packaging or the listing that caused it — before it costs you the shelf.

Eagle Eye Returns

Patent Pending

Photo analysis on every single return. Each unit is imaged and inspected against a quality standard, then reconciled to the order, the SKU and the stated reason. When the same fault repeats across units, the vendor is alerted to a defect pattern — before it reaches the review page.

Fulfillment

The people packing your product work for us.

Ten fulfillment centers staffed by people we hire, train and hold to a written Brand Chief standard. Your inventory is never handed to a subcontractor we cannot name.

How it usually works

The chain nobody shows you

  • Your pallets go to a third-party warehouse. That warehouse quietly hands the work to a staffing agency. The person packing your product started last week, is paid by the unit, and has never been told whose brand it is.
  • Your inventory sits on a shelf next to everyone else's — including sellers you would never have authorized. Mix-ups and substitutions become somebody else's paperwork and your brand's problem.
  • Nobody in that chain answers to you. When a customer opens a crushed box, the one-star review lands on your product page. Not theirs.
  • You ask what went wrong and you get a ticket number, a photo nobody took, and a subcontractor two steps removed who has already moved on.

How we run it

One chain of custody, start to finish

  • Every unit ships from a facility we operate, packed by staff we employ and train to the Brand Chief standard — not agency labour rotated in for the season.
  • The people handling your product know what it is, what it is worth, and how it is supposed to arrive. Nothing is subcontracted to a name you have never heard.
  • Your inventory is controlled and traceable from receipt to doorstep, so what leaves our building is the product you made — not something that looks like it.
  • Eagle Eye Returns™ photographs every returned unit, so a moulding flaw, a weak seam or a carton that keeps failing in transit comes back to you as evidence you can act on — while it is still a handful of units, not a rating.

This is the part of the channel most brands never inspect — and the part that decides what a customer actually sees when the box is opened. If you cannot name the person who packed your product, you have outsourced your brand, not your logistics.

Retail Reach™ · Patent Pending

A bad review does not stay online.

The shopper standing in the aisle with your product in one hand has your reviews open in the other. Retail Reach extends your brand past the marketplaces — onto physical shelves and onto a consumer site of your own — then tracks what your brand looks like at every point a buying decision gets made — online and on the shelf — and tells you which channel is being damaged by what.

Retail Reach™ also puts you on real shelves.

Beyond the marketplaces, Retail Reach can put your inventory in front of a network of up to 9,000 independent hardware and home-improvement stores across the United States. Products have to meet the network’s requirements to be listed, and we handle getting them there — so the brand a shopper researches online is the brand they can pick up locally.

And a consumer site of your own.

Brand Chief will build and run your brand’s own consumer site — your story, your photography and your full range in one place, with Buy on Amazon handling the checkout. No payment stack to stand up, no second returns process, and every click lands on a listing we already manage rather than on a reseller’s.

Traffic you send in is tracked through Amazon Attribution — and because outside traffic feeds a listing’s ranking, the site works for your search position as well as your brand.

01 · CAUSE

One bad unit

A mispack. A damaged carton. Or a counterfeit sold on your own listing by a seller you never authorized — a product you did not make, did not inspect and did not price. The customer cannot tell the difference.

02 · CONSEQUENCE

One review

The review never says “this came from an unauthorized seller.” It says your brand is poor quality — written once, in public, and attached to your product for as long as you sell it. You cannot delete it and neither can we.

And then it turns up here

The retail aisle

A shopper in Home Depot or Tractor Supply with your product in hand checks their phone before committing. Your online rating decides a sale that never touches a marketplace.

The buyer's desk

The category buyer deciding whether to expand your line opens the same page you do. A weak average is an argument against you before the meeting starts.

Search results

Star ratings follow your product name into Google, where they are often the first thing anyone learns about your brand — before they reach any page you control.

AI assistants

Answer engines weigh ratings and review sentiment when choosing what to recommend. Poor reviews do not just lower you in the list — they quietly remove you from the answer.

Every other channel

Complaints and quality flags migrate between marketplaces. A problem that starts on one becomes a suppression risk on all of them at once.

Where you ship from decides where you rank.

Most brands assume the buy box is one national decision. It is not — it is worked out per delivery address. Two shoppers searching the same product on the same day get different winners depending on where they live, and the marketplace tells them why:

“Shorter shipping distance”

A brand shipping from one warehouse wins the region around it and quietly loses the rest of the country. Running ten fulfillment centers means your product is the closest option across far more of the map — so the same listing, at the same price, wins in places it was previously invisible. Fulfillment is not a cost line behind the sale. It is what decides who gets shown.

This is why quality control is not a warehouse statistic, and why removing unauthorized sellers is not housekeeping. Both protect your shelf space, your buyer relationships and your reputation in channels we do not even operate. It is why every unit ships from our own building, packed by our own trained staff, why every return is photographed, and why we get counterfeit listings taken down before they can write themselves into your rating.

Forward Capability · Inside GoLive™

Your brand, ready for the next shopping interface.

The shelf is being rewritten. Shoppers are asking an assistant what to buy instead of typing a keyword and scrolling. GoLive writes your listings for how those engines read a product, so that when the question gets asked, you are the answer.

Pest Control · RESCUE!

Sterling International

Pest control is a season, not a year. We carry the preseason forecast so Sterling can schedule factory production in advance instead of chasing demand once it has already arrived, and we hold the full assortment live across all five channels before the season turns. The counterfeit listings that once sat on their products have been resolved.

Engagement

How this starts.

No discovery deck. The first deliverable is a factual account of what your brand looks like on the marketplaces today, whether or not you engage us.

01

Channel Review

Every live listing carrying your brand across every channel we cover: who is selling it, at what price, against what MAP, with what content, and where it is shipping. You get the findings whether or not the conversation continues.

02

Economics

What each product actually earns once you count landed cost, shipping out, packaging and the cost of getting returns back — so the channel is judged on profit, not revenue. This is where most brands find out which of their bestsellers lose money.

03

Authorization Structure

We agree who may sell, at what floor, on which marketplace. Everyone else comes off. This step is what makes the rest of the program enforceable.

04

Operate

Listings, pricing, fulfillment, advertising and compliance run as one operation on the platform above, with your own Brand Chief Cockpit instance. One number for the channel, one team accountable for it.
